We would like to announce that the 29th International Working Group of Ostrinia and other maize pest (IWGO) Conference of the International Organization of Biological Control (IOBC) will take place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, between Tuesday 28th and Thursday 30th of October 2025 plus a field trip on Friday 31st of October 2025. The field trip is optional and will require booking during or after the registration process.

We like to inform you that we will partner with the Malaysian Agricultural Research and Development Institute (MARDI) who have agreed to co-host the IWGO event at their MARDI Auditorium on the MARDI campus in Putrajaya, away from the hustle of Kuala Lumpur city.

The scientific programme is now finalized in collaboration with the session organizers, and we can now share the final version of the scientific programme here, which we hope fits your interest and expectations.

We are looking forward to arranging a stimulating IWGO conference and hope that you will contribute your active personal participation in Malaysia.
